Northeast Boston Terrier Rescue

Northeast Boston Rescue (NEBTR) is comprised of volunteers based in NY/NJ and PA and serves Boston Terriers in need within reach of our helping hands.  Most dogs in foster care for placement are adolescent to adult dogs in need of re-homing in life for a multitude of reasons and will need caring hands to guide them as they transition into new homes.  All of our rescue dogs are fostered and evaluated for a 2 week minimum to allow us to assess their personality and provide them with basic foundation skills - House/Crate training, basic manners - to ease their transition into new homes.  It is our belief such work in foster care better prepares dogs for success and helps forms lasting bonds.

Please Help Bailey

NEBTR is asking your assistance to help Bailey; remember, all donations are tax deductible.

Bailey was on the Craig's List website, and one of our volunteers found him. His former owner is now in an assisted living facility.  Bailey is being lovingly fostered by Kathy Vander Werff, who is giving him all the affection she can, but unfortunately the little guy is being challenged by a number of medical problems, all of which need expensive vet care.

Bailey had many teeth extracted, maybe 9 or 10 (the tech said she lost count). They were in extremely bad shape. He does still have some teeth left, particularly his lower front teeth. Hopefully this will make him feel better once he heals up. He is on pain meds and antibiotics.
